Julius graduated with a Bachelor of Law (Hons) degree from the University of West of England, Bristol in 2006. He then gained work experience in the United Kingdom in 2007 and 2008 before returning to Malaysia to obtain the Certificate in Legal Practise in 2009. He was then called to the Malaysian Bar as an Advocate & Solicitors of the High Court of Malaya in 2012.

His practice encompasses commercial real estate and property transactions including property-related banking and finance documentations. Julius has also given numerous talks to the legal teams of major property developers on novel issues such as the Maintenance & Management of Buildings & Common Property in relation to the new Strata Management Act 2013 as well as on the amendments to the Housing Development (Control & Licensing) Act 1966 And Strata Title Act 1985 in relation to stratified property developments.

Julius speaks fluent English, Bahasa Malaysia and is able to converse in Hokkien.


Notable transactions:

  • Advising, reviewing and drafting the key documents for the disposal of two leasehold industrial lands totaling 48 acres in Kuantan, Pahang for a consideration of RM155 million.

  • Advising on the tenancy agreements on residential and commercial buildings in the Klang Valley, including areas covering Mont Kiara, KL Sentral, Kota Kemuning, Setia ALam and Bukit Bintang City Centre.
